Antarctic Larson-calved A68 Iceberg v2
Ice-Walls of the "Trillion-Tonne" Iceberg, Sculptural Watercolour® by Prue Bishop, 60 x 80 x 7 cm G08, 2020. Digital.
“Trillion-Tonne” Iceberg’s Massive Walls Breaking Up in the South Atlantic. The artist’s unique Sculptural Watercolour® genre captures this end of the massive iceberg perfectly, depicting the slippery ice-walls whose shape is ever-changing and whose structure is continuously collapsing. Sitting proudly on the very top is a huge, magnificent, dominant block of ice - maybe 1000 years old - that is about to fall into the sea, melt away and disappear for ever, as is, eventually, the entire iceberg.
