The Artist, Prue Bishop, explains: "I frequently visited Lausanne as a city less busy than Geneva. Knowing it was famous for its connections with the Olympics and with a history of culture, I was determined to create it in the best possible light. Here we see the cathedral, an acknowledgement to a once prolific tree lined walk, and modern facilities in the foreground."
